Riverfront Park

Riverfront Park – currently a pavilion is being built, a parking lot, and sidewalk going to the park restrooms. This is in a location close to the canoe launch with a beautiful view of the River. This project is being funded by the Mahoning County Community Improvement Council, the Youngstown Foundation, and the Village of Lowellville. This is just the beginning, stay turned for more.

Stavich Bike Trail Phase 1

Phase 1 of the bile trail improvement is scheduled to sell April 2024. The work will consist of widening and resurfacing of the trail from Youngstown-Lowellville Rd. to West Liberty Street. The pedestrian bridge over Gray’s Run will be rehabilitated. This portion of the bike trail will be closed to the public during construction, for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days. The official detour for this closure will utilize Cooper Avenue, Youngstown- Lowellville Rd., Wood Street and McGill Street. For construction and detour updates see the Village webpage at – villageoflowellville.org. This project is being funded by the FHWA TAP funds and the Village of Lowellville.
